Safrianna’s Sacred Moon Ceremonies—FAQs & What to Expect if You Participate

Yesterday, I shared about what brought me to moon ceremony in the first place—an adventure spanning more than 15 years!

Today, I want to orient you to some of the frequently asked questions about my complimentary and publicly provided moon ceremonies, available on the Living LUNAs YouTube channel and my Facebook page twice a month in a cycle with the new and full moons.

If you’ve never attended a moon circle before, this should help orient you to what to expect!

Who are your moon circles for?

Simply put, my ceremonies are for everyone who wants to participate in a loving and respectful way. Our participants are diverse: LGBTQIA+ people and allies, neurodivergant people, people with religious trauma paving a new path, explorative and inclusive Christians, and so many more incredible individuals who simply want to connect with others in community and spiritual practice.

A Note On My Trauma-Informed and Neurodivergent-Friendly Approach
—As a trauma-informed practitioner, I always give a gentle reminder that participants are welcome to move, dance, sing, or do whatever they need to do in their space during the meditation and visualization portion of the ceremony. This creates a neurodivergent-friendly and trauma-informed environment where people can receive the experience in the way that works best for them.

What can I expect if I attend a moon ceremony?

I follow a structured and consistent flow in my moon ceremonies, so there are no major surprises other than the guardians we meet within, the symbolism that arises, or our own situations.

The Structure of My Moon Ceremonies

  1. Setting the Stage: The ceremony begins with me orienting everyone, sharing about the collective energy I'm noticing, and discussing the symbolism coming through with the current moon and zodiac. I often share an energy update from my friend Tamara Childs, an incredible intuitive astrologist, visionary, and creative.

  2. Setting Intentions and Clearing Energy: Next, we set intentions, allowing each person to focus on what they're celebrating, integrating, or hoping to pay attention to during the ceremony. We then let that intention go and clear the energy using smoke cleansing, which I love for its visible representation of energy moving and its connection to the elements of air, earth, and fire.

  3. Guided Visualization/Meditation: During the visualization, I guide everyone down into the portal of the heart, the most basic portal that has come through for me, which helps connect to the power of unconditional love that exists for us always. From there, we usually go within to an inner sanctuary and embark on a journey to meet a guide, connect with a higher power or higher self, or explore symbolism. I present the symbolism in a way that allows each person to interpret it according to their own religious or spiritual structure. I may speak light language* during this time.

  4. Journaling, Card Readings, and Closing the Ceremony: After the visualization, I invite everyone to journal about their experience while I do the same. I then pull some cards for a collective reading, sharing messages of healing, awakening, and things to pay attention to in the coming weeks. We conclude the ceremony, and if the experience has moved participants, I invite them to donate so that I can continue to offer this heart service to the world.

I heard you talk in a different language. What’s that?

*Light Language Transmissions and the Voice of Love—Throughout the ceremony, there may be light language transmissions, also known as glossolalia or speaking in tongues. This is a verbal transmission of energy that may activate, clear, release, or call in new energy, and it always comes through with the voice of love.

I have been told that my greatest superpower is my presence of unconditional love and my ability to cheer people on and celebrate them in their authenticity without judgment. These vibrations or frequencies are always intended with the highest good and love, and you may receive or not receive their energy as is right for you.

How long are the ceremony replays available?

While the replays are always available on YouTube, moon ceremonies around a particular time and energy are powerful for about three days before and after the actual new moon or full moon. However, the meditations are pretty potent whenever you want to do them!

I usually run the live ceremony just before or after the actual lunar event. The energy remains present for several days afterward, allowing people to catch the replay or do their own moon ceremonies within that timeframe.

Why do this? What’s the importance of Moon Ceremonies?

In our fast-paced, seemingly nonstop modern lives, having opportunities to drop in and be in the moment is essential. These moon ceremonies offer a bi-monthly chance to do just that: pause, breathe, and be.

Offering these ceremonies feels like a part of my calling, and it's important for my own anchoring and journey as I continue to fill my own cup first. These moments of checking in and connecting with my higher self and my team while also helping others have been incredibly beneficial.

Many people have shared profound experiences in these simple, free ceremonies, and I love knowing that I am contributing to their growth and healing.

Additional Questions & My Survey

Do you have any other questions about these moon ceremonies that you’d like me to answer? If so, please comment or email me at Guide@Safrianna.com.

And if you have a moment, I have some potential questions for you! I have created a survey to gather input from participants and potential participants about what they enjoy, what's working or not working with the free calls, and what they would consider if I offered a paid upgrade. If you’re willing to, please take the survey here.

An Invitation to Rise Together

I believe that we are all in a stage of life where we are choosing to rise together, choosing what we value, and where we are going to put our energy. If you are looking to uplift yourself, others around you, and this planet, then you are my kind of people!

I would love to share space with you! If you want to join me in digital circle, be sure to follow me on the Living LUNAs YouTube and/or my Facebook page to catch the lives or replays.

With all the light of the sun, moon, and stars!

Loving You Fiercely,
