Transforming into the Queer-Spirit Guide
In 2016, I was a middle school English teacher, striving to make a difference for my 150+ students. Despite appearing successful, I was secretly miserable, facing abuse at home and harassment at work. However, the queer kids who sought my guidance became a catalyst for change, leading me to embrace my role as the Queer-Spirit Guide.
Understanding that I could support these children simply by accepting them inspired me to pursue a career as a professional counselor. Balancing grad school, teaching, and being a union rep while enduring abuse was incredibly challenging, but the universe had my back. My counseling internship at Heartly House provided the vocabulary and understanding I needed to recognize and break free from toxic relationships.
Over the years, I shed my old life, leaving behind an unsupportive workplace and a damaging relationship. I ventured into entrepreneurial freedom, embracing my identity as a bisexual person and working through my own traumas. Today, I proudly stand as the Queer-Spirit Guide, offering support through writing, rituals, group containers, and as the Visionary CEO of Living LUNA.
I am blessed to embody this role and use my voice and privilege to make a positive impact. How can I support you on your journey to authentic self-alignment?
The Wheel of Fortune: The Rhythms of Life
The Wheel of Fortune tarot card represents the cyclical nature of life, the unpredictability of fate, and the role of karma. It reminds us that what goes around comes around, so we should carefully consider the energy we put out into the world. The sphinx symbol suggests understanding these cycles requires deeper insight, while the four creatures represent the elements – earth, air, fire, and water – which are connected to life's rhythms.
