The World: A Symbol of Completion and New Beginnings
As I come to the end of April and this tarot journey concludes, I have to say I'm really glad that I decided to do this!
While I've been working with tarot since I was 18 years old, I have never really studied the symbolism in depth in the way that I did this month. This was the first time I focused daily on one of the karmic cards in the deck, going through in order to really understand the story unfolding. It helped me really experientially deepen my understanding of the power of reflection we can experience when we dive deep into the symbolism that's available to us in this human world.
As an Intuitive Healer, Divine Channel, and Quantum Creatrix, I perform performing healings and rituals. I strongly believe in the richness of symbolism and its ability to further our understanding of life through compassionate self-reflection.
As I look at the World card on this last day of April, I'm struck by how much I've completed already in this year, even though it doesn't feel like anything at all. It's been a slow and sluggish year so far in terms of "productivity" and "success" from a capitalistic point of view.
I've had my "worst" financial quarter of my life up to this point.
I've felt the squeeze.
I've performed rituals with or without an audience, for myself first, and then for everyone else in my container.
I've truly, once and for all, demonstrated that I've stepped away from my old relationship with codependency. We've healed now to where I can announce, "I'm struggling to say no right now because..." And then saying NO.
It's incredible.
This year, I've already accomplished setting a huge goal of making a leap from my career as a trauma therapist, to truly stepping into my role as the Queer-Spirit Guide, community and network builder, and activist.
This leap is scary and has taken an immense amount of energy. Honestly, it's taken every bit of energy I've had at the beginning of this year. I had to work through the limiting belief that I would be harmful to my clients if I "left" them to pursue my dreams.
I had to work on my mindset and trust the Universe. I had to believe that I have been on this journey for a reason, a reason far greater than I can ever comprehend from an egoic standpoint.
I'm trusting that through this journey. I am coming into the next chapter of life, ready to face the world ahead and building a better future for ALL. <3
This year has mainly been about understanding what in the world it means to be "The Queer-Spirit Guide," a title I came into in January during one of @M Shannon Hernandez's workshops.
I needed to understand exact what "The Queer-Spirit Guide" means to me, who this new upleveled me really is.
And of course, I had to figure out how I'm going to move forward in letting people know how they can work with me. I've had to find the right team to support me and my message in the way that I want to deliver it (aka, in a way that is true to me).
We're not buying in to a bunch of societal bullshit constructs!!! I'm so grateful to have this team.
Though the first third of the year is already over, there's so much yet to come my way. I am excited and blessed. Eager for the next parts of this journey! So much has happened this month. Celebrating completion AND new beginnings!

Symbolism & Interpretation
The World tarot card is the final card of the Major Arcana and represents completion, fulfillment, and wholeness. The World is a powerful symbol of unity, harmony, and balance, and it is often associated with achievement, mastery, and enlightenment.
In the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith deck, the World card features a woman who is surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves, representing victory and achievement. She is holding a wand in each hand, representing the balance of opposing forces. The four corners of the card depict the four fixed signs of the zodiac (Leo, Taurus, Scorpio, and Aquarius), representing the four elements of nature and the four seasons. The World card also features the symbols of the four evangelists (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), representing the four elements of Christianity (earth, air, fire, and water).
The World is a card of completion, but it is also a card of new beginnings. It encourages us to embrace change and to be open to new opportunities and experiences. I am loving the new things available to me on the horizon right here and now!
The World tarot card reminds us that we are capable of achieving great things and that we have the power to create the life we want. It encourages us to celebrate our successes, learn from our mistakes, and stay open to new experiences. As we continue on our journey, we can use the wisdom of the World card to guide us, and we can trust that we have everything we need to create a fulfilling and meaningful life.
