Embracing Your Rhythm: Why My Moon Ceremonies Might Be Your Missing Element

I am over the moon (pun intended) to share why my moon ceremonies are more than just another spiritual offering in a sea of endless choices.

In a world that demands our daily lives feel like an endless treadmill of obligations and expectations, it's all too easy to lose touch with our own natural rhythms. Seriously—look around. We are so disconnected as a society from the sun and moon, our own bodies, and our collective health.

The pressure to keep up with the fast-paced, compulsory schedule of modern life can take a heavy toll on our mental health, leaving us feeling burnt out, disconnected, and yearning for something more. The status quo is miserable for so many. When every day feels like a carbon copy of the last, and the next deadline is always looming overhead, I believe it’s essential to find ways to come home to ourselves and reconnect with the innate wisdom of our bodies and souls.

By embracing the cyclical nature of the moon and the seasons, we can begin to find a sense of grounding, balance, and purpose amidst the chaos of the daily grind. It's in these moments of intentional pause, self-reflection, and alignment with our own unique rhythms that we can begin to cultivate true wellness, both mentally and spiritually.

That’s where moon ceremony comes in.

If you take at least two opportunities a month to take a deep pause, clear your energy, set your sights on where you’re going next, have a creative experience, and integrate what’s come up for you, tremendous things can happen.

Over the past several years, I have crafted a communal sacred space where you can tune inward and be yourself each full moon and new moon, providing anchor points to assess your goals, celebrate your wins, set new intentions, and release what no longer serves. A place where you can dive deep into the magic of lunar alchemy and rhythmic alignment…

Okay before I get esoteric as heck, let me back it up a bit.

Recently, I shared all about my love for moon circles and my personal journey.

I also shared the exact structure I use for every single ceremony I provide publicly so you know exactly what you’re getting yourself into.

I even explored a bit about what kind of wisdom comes through during these routine ceremonies…

But what about the results? What about the data?

What happens when we actually tune in routinely, following a natural rhythm, and allow ourselves to pay attention to what’s really happening inside and outside of ourselves?

The Real Magic of Moon Ceremonies

What started as a simple curiosity about the moon's phases and how they influence our energy has blossomed into a full-blown love affair with lunar magic.

When I first began hosting moon circles, I had no idea just how profoundly they would transform my life and the lives of those who joined me.

Just as a quick glance, since beginning to routinely participate in and offer moon ceremonies in 2022, I have:

  • Retired from my 1-on-1 therapy practice to fully pursue my big business dreams and focus on my more expansive, soul-led offers

  • Published two solo books, including a best-selling poetry book

  • Visited and then later hosted a destination retreat in a place I’d only dreamed of ever seeing the year before

And YES! I think committing to a moon ceremony practice has been responsible for so much of this!

Why? Let’s dive into that.

Witnessing Patterns & Cycles

When we participate in moon ceremonies twice a month, we gift ourselves a sacred space to witness the patterns and cycles that shape our lives. By aligning with the new and full moons, we create a consistent rhythm of self-reflection, intention-setting, and release. This regular practice allows us to become more attuned to the ebbs and flows of our own energy, emotions, and behaviors, shining a light on potential areas of self-sabotage or limiting beliefs that may be holding us back.

I started to recognize what really lit me up and made my soul sing, vs what felt completely devoid of joy and pleasure, thus of magic. I started to calibrate to a new way of being through consistently returning to my own soul and heart-space to see what needed to be worked on.

I also saw this in those who participated regularly—those showing up to moon ceremony had subtle or big career shifts; new perspectives on their spiritual gifts; new creative projects coming up; the re-ignition of soul-connections with a spiritual guide or ancestor—incredible clarity happening left and right.

We have the opportunity to set new intentions and goals, planting the seeds of our desires in the fertile soil of the new moon and celebrating our growth and progress under the illuminating glow of the full moon. Through this cyclical process of introspection and manifestation, we begin to create a deeper sense of self-awareness, empowerment, and purpose. This opens more capacity to navigate the challenges and opportunities in our lives with greater clarity, resilience, and grace, knowing we’ll come back home, reflect, and recalibrate with a rhythm.

Community Magic

There's something so special about coming together in a circle, united by our shared desire to connect with the rhythms of the universe and the wisdom within ourselves. When we gather with others who share our intentions and desires, we tap into a powerful energy that amplifies our individual efforts and creates a sense of universality and connection.

Every time I guide a moon ceremony, I feel an almost tangible sense of joy, love, and expansion radiating from each and every participant. It's like we're all wrapped up in a cosmic hug, held by the gentle glow of the moon and the power of our collective intention. It’s my favorite!

And can I just say, these circles are so much fun! I mean, where else can you meet with a mystical goat or a deep sea crab from your living room, set powerful intentions, and explore the depths of your soul with a group of like-minded, open-hearted individuals? It's pure magic.

Taking life a little less seriously always lifts a weight off our shoulders. Let go! Let down! Let yourself have a surprising experience.

Slowing Down

In a culture that glorifies the hustle and the grind, it's easy to fall into the trap of believing that we must constantly push ourselves to the limit in order to achieve our goals. However, this approach can quickly lead to burnout, stress, and a host of mental and physical health issues.

By intentionally slowing down and using anchor points, such as the new and full moons, to set and review our major goals, we can move towards a more sustainable and fulfilling approach to personal growth and achievement.

When we allow ourselves the space to rest, reflect, and realign with our deepest desires, we give our minds and bodies the opportunity to recharge, reducing the risk of anxiety, depression, and chronic stress. This cyclical approach to goal-setting also enables us to break free from the pressure of constant productivity, fostering a greater sense of balance, creativity, and resilience in all areas of our lives. I liken it to planting seeds and nurturing them to see what grows!

By honoring the natural rhythms of our bodies and the world around us, we can tap into a wellspring of energy, inspiration, and purpose that supports our long-term success and well-being. The Sun, Moon, Stars, and Mother Earth herself are all here supporting us on a subtle energetic level, and also in the very ways the world flows around us.

It’s time to tune in!

In a world that often feels like a whirlwind of obligations and expectations, moon ceremonies offer a sacred space to reconnect with your own natural rhythms, witness the patterns and cycles that shape your life, and cultivate a deep sense of community and connection. By intentionally slowing down and aligning with the new and full moons, you gift yourself the opportunity to set intentions, celebrate your growth, and release what no longer serves you. Through this cyclical process of introspection and manifestation, you tap into a wellspring of energy, inspiration, and purpose that supports your long-term success and well-being.

If you're ready to embrace a more sustainable and fulfilling approach to personal growth and achievement, I invite you to join me in the magic of moon ceremonies. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or new to the world of moon circles, there's a place for you in this sacred community!

If you missed my latest live New Moon in Cancer ceremony, you can watch the replay on my Facebook page or YouTube. If you subscribe to the Living LUNA YouTube, you can opt to be notified about new releases and my latest lives. We tend to drop at least one episode of something every week, whether that be Align & Shine, The Inner-Tapestry Series, a Soul-Connection Call, or one of the moon ceremonies!

If you’re on the fence about my moon ceremonies (or you’re all in), I have some potential questions for you! I have created a survey to gather input from participants and potential participants about what they enjoy, what's working or not working with the free calls, and what they would consider if I offered a paid upgrade. If you’re willing to, please take the survey here.

Do you have any other questions you’d like me to answer about these moon ceremonies? If so, drop a comment or send me an email at Guide@Safrianna.com

Remember, you are a divine being! The moon is always there to guide you on your journey and could be the missing key in mastering your own rhythms. You can trust in the power of your own pace, and allow the moon to provide gentle reminders along your path.
