Breaking Generational Trauma: A Call to Embrace the Sacred Feminine

It is time to heal this planet. I was called in by Mother Earth Herself to be an anchor of love and the ability to process through light and shadow across the multifaceted human experience. To bridge Heaven and Earth, and untangle the mess of living hell we find ourselves in. It doesn't have to be this way.

The energy of the Divine Mother has been a presence or spiritual guide in many forms for me over the years. Yet, I have also experienced disconnection from the feminine, from the flow, from the pulse of the Goddess's heartbeat that thrums through the Earth. I have cut myself off for entire chapters of my life to try and stay safe, witnessing the ways femininity, girlhood, womanhood, and feminine expression in any form was attacked and, at times, destroyed around me.

Releasing Resistance to Shine Your Light —Overcoming Fear & Shame

Do you ever feel resistance to doing what really lights you up? In a recent episode of Align & Shine, my biz bestie Meryl Hayton and I dove deep into the topic of resistance - what it looks like, where it comes from, and most importantly, how to release it so you can step into your brilliance.

By tuning into the physical sensations of this resistance in my body, I had a huge aha moment - the Judgmental Part of me hangs out in my eyebrows! As an Internal Family Systems and Parts Work practitioner, I work with myself and others to recognize the subtle ways our wounded parts of self show up in our lives. This was an exciting discovery because now I have an awareness that tension or tingling in my brow area may indicate judgment.

Reflections on the New Moon in Cancer Ceremony—Returning from Sabbatical with Joy and Gratitude

We're moving into the period of the Buck Moon, and summer is in full swing with vibrant energy and lots of light. There's all this potential brimming.

With it being a cancer new moon, it's calling us to question our home lives, our connection with our familial ties, and how we're relating to our environment. It's an invitation to evaluate what we need and want in our living situation and little family relationships to make things better.

The buck full moon ahead in Capricorn is really forward thinking. How do we take this energy we're learning about what's no longer working and move towards more simplicity, anchoring into the now, slowing down and reducing clutter? How do we move from overwhelmed or chaotic towards ease, flow and peace?

Is Sedona the Key to Awakening Your Next Level?

Today, I’m immersing myself in Sedona’s powerful energy all the way from Maryland as I work on my upcoming book, "Balancing the Cosmic Divine." Beside me on my Summer Altar, I have crystals—golden tektite, agni manitite, "Lemurian" quartz, and lepidolite—all found or gifted in Sedona. These were cleansed during my sacred journey to the birthing cave.

As I write, I connect with these energies and draw cards to commune with my guide, Brother Michael. He affirms that both this book and my upcoming Sedona retreat are a huge SOUL YES, offering transformation for me and others. I envision myself in Sedona, with the book published, dancing under the stars with my spiritual siblings, sipping custom hot cocoas.

Sedona’s energy feels both lunar and solar, balancing the cosmic divine within us. Her magic is palpable, from the red rocks to the breathtaking sunrises. I feel her healing energy and know I’ll be there again soon.

If your soul resonates with this magic, join us for our next retreat. We’re weaving our dreams into reality. Who will dance with us in Sedona’s sacred vortex?

My Sabbatical Month Shared in Photos

Today’s blog is a photo journal of experiences throughout my sabbatical! I’ll share a photo and a little context for each underneath as I reflect back on the beautiful moments.

It was interesting looking through my photo gallery because I actually took very few pictures over the course of the month. I take this as a good sign. I was so blessedly “unhooked” from the need to show up on socials and be on tech that I had many blissful days of hardly touching my phone. What joy!

Productivity Culture Nearly Broke Me, So I Took a Sabbatical

For as long as I’ve been working, I've dreamed of taking a real sabbatical - a significant chunk of time away from my business and work to completely rejuvenate myself. While I'm still working on the "completely rejuvenated" part, this year I finally managed to take almost an entire month off from traditional work. And let me tell you, I learned a hell of a lot about why it's so dang hard for me to rest.

As a writer, speaker, CEO, and Guide, I've been running on all cylinders for years. I love what I do, but I realized that my mindset around work and giving to others was blocking my own creative writing in the process.

The Season of Sun is HERE!

This past weekend, I ventured into the woods to escape my everyday life and make space to wander and dream. Sitting by a struggling stream, my mind buzzed with thoughts, but nature's beauty helped me anchor into my breath. A butterfly landed beside me, and I felt a profound connection to everything around me and recognized how I had disconnected from myself.

Recently, I celebrated my solar return, my birthday, and declared this the year of ME. I've seen my light dimmed by fear—fear of judgment, rejection, and misunderstanding. Yet, as I connected with Spirit and witnessed the butterfly and the flowing stream, I saw where I was stuck and decided to shift.

Physically removing fallen branches blocking the stream, I realized I could also remove blocks in my life. This act of clearing brought a profound sense of release and presence. Sitting back, I soaked in the sun, feeling affirmed in my path as the Queer-Spirit Guide.

As the days grow longer and summer embraces us, how are you enjoying the light? The Summer Solstice is near, bringing potent energy ready to be harnessed. Join me in embracing this powerful time for self-discovery and renewal.

Summer Solstice is Upon Us!

The Summer Solstice, also known as Midsummer or Litha, marks the peak of the solar year and is celebrated worldwide. This holiday represents the longest day of the year and the sun's potent power. It's a time of abundance, heightened spiritual energy, and the turning point where daylight begins to wane. Celebrations vary across cultures, with some of the most famous traditions occurring at Stonehenge and in Sweden, where people dance, decorate with flowers, and enjoy traditional foods. Bonfires play a central role in many celebrations, symbolizing purification and renewal.

Hope for the Future as I Look Back

A Collective Pulse of Hope

I’m celebrating my first week as a newly 35-year-old, having spent the prior week in deep contemplation and reflection on year 34. I want to share some things that've been on my heart and mind as I find myself in this in between integration space. In this blog, you can read about my collective reflections, looking back on the major experiences of year 34, and what I’m wishing for in year 35! Let’s dive in.

Before I get into more personal reflection, I want to take a macro-level view. Over these past few months, I’ve seen a massive shift. As I look at the Collective right now, I've been so inspired lately by the people I see stepping boldly into fighting for justice, equality, authenticity, compassion, curiosity, joy, autonomy, and personal truth.

Transforming into the Queer-Spirit Guide

In 2016, I was a middle school English teacher, striving to make a difference for my 150+ students. Despite appearing successful, I was secretly miserable, facing abuse at home and harassment at work. However, the queer kids who sought my guidance became a catalyst for change, leading me to embrace my role as the Queer-Spirit Guide.

Understanding that I could support these children simply by accepting them inspired me to pursue a career as a professional counselor. Balancing grad school, teaching, and being a union rep while enduring abuse was incredibly challenging, but the universe had my back. My counseling internship at Heartly House provided the vocabulary and understanding I needed to recognize and break free from toxic relationships.

Over the years, I shed my old life, leaving behind an unsupportive workplace and a damaging relationship. I ventured into entrepreneurial freedom, embracing my identity as a bisexual person and working through my own traumas. Today, I proudly stand as the Queer-Spirit Guide, offering support through writing, rituals, group containers, and as the Visionary CEO of Living LUNA.

I am blessed to embody this role and use my voice and privilege to make a positive impact. How can I support you on your journey to authentic self-alignment?
